Property description:

The elegant villa is located above Imperia Oneglia, on a sunny hill surrounded by olive trees. There are stunning sea views from all rooms and terraces.

The house is partly built into the slope. On the ground floor there is a very large living room with a dining area, a study, a very nice modern kitchen and a bathroom with a shower.

A spiral staircase leads to the upper floor. There is a separate small top floor apartment with a bathroom and a balcony with sea views. A kitchen can be built in as the plumbing has already been laid. The attic can also be reached from outside through a separate entrance.

A second staircase leads from the living room to the lower floor. Here is a bedroom with a bathroom en suit, equipped with a bathtub. A dressing room adjoins the bedroom.

Next door there is a utility room. All rooms in the basement have access to the garden, beautifully planted with lemon trees.

The house also has a large room adjacent to the house, which can be used as a summer kitchen, party room or simply as a storeroom. The large garden terrace is provided with a modern pergola, where you can adjust the shade as needed.
The property includes a large well-kept garden and an olive grove. In the upper part of the property there is a carport for three cars. The driveway is provided with an electric gate.

It is a very tasteful, well-kept, luxury property. The quiet location with sea views is unique. You can even reach the port of Imperia on foot in a few minutes.

Equipment
It is a modern house with very good insulation values.

It is heated with an oil heating system. The lines and connections for the city gas have already been laid, a gas floor heating can be installed without any problems.

All electricity and water lines are new, the house is connected to the municipal sewage system. There is satellite TV and WiFi.

A pool can be built.

Location
Imperia consists of two districts, which were for centuries independent cities. The first one Porto Maurizio was characterized by the rural culture, trade, and the nobility, the other one Oneglia by the industry and the harbor. The old town of Porto Maurizio, Parasio has an almost perfectly preserved medieval structure, lots of houses with labyrinth-like lanes, stairs and underpasses. Everything is wildly romantic, very authentic and thankfully not yet "restored to dead". Porto Maurizio has also got a nice little harbor and beautiful sandy beaches. On Thursday there will be a weekly market on the main street Via Cascione. It's worth getting up early!

Oneglia however, passes slowly from its industrial past and is becoming a trendy, chic city. The factories are closing, in the harbor you will find a growing number of very good restaurants and bars. Beside the fishing trawlers where you can still buy fresh fish one can see more and more luxury yachts. The beautiful Via Bonfante with its arcades becomes more and more interesting. There are very good grocery stores, boutiques and bars. Twice a week on wednesday and saturday there is a large market in Oneglia. Here you will find everything from tablecloths, flowers and handbags to prosciutto.

Highly recommended is the Olive Museum of the Carli family, Museo dell'Olivo - Via Garessio, 13-18100 Imperia. Directly in front of the museum you will find "Emporio Carli" a big shop where you can buy olive oil, pesto, wine but also cosmetics which the Carli family produces from the olive oil. Many products are in organic quality.
In Imperia-Porto Maurizio there are sandy beaches. In Imperia-Oneglia most of the beaches are with pebbles, but these are also in August not crowded and the water is very clean.

A tip:
Go to Imperia-Oneglia, at the roundabout in the center you drive in direction Genoa. After arriving at the sea, do not turn as indicated to the left, but continue straight ahead along the sea. It is a dead end, a never completed coastal road. In the further course the road is closed for cars. There you will find beautiful small, romantic bays where you can go swimming with dogs.

We highly recommend a trip to Pieve di Teco (simply follow SS 28 in direction Turin) an ancient trading town. Every last Sunday of the month there is a very interesting antiques market.
