Das wunderschöne, historische Bergdorf Vasia (ca. 450 Einwohner) liegt sehr malerisch auf einer Höhe von 385m im Hinterland von Imperia mitten in Olivenhainen, nach Süden hin zur Küste offen. Vasia hat einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen und ein Postamt, in ca. 7 km entfernten Caramagna befindet sich ein Supermarkt. Die sanfte Berglandschaft lädt zum Wandern oder Mountainbiking ein. Die sauberen und gepflegten Strände in Imperia und Umgebung (siehe ADAC Test) sind nur ca. 10 km entfernt und bieten ein Badevergnügen von Mai bis Oktober.
Nicht weit von hier gibt es sehr schöne und interessante Örtlichkeiten, die man leicht auch über die Autobahn erreichen kann: Wenn Sie ostwärts die Küste entlangfahren, können Sie Diano Alassio (25 km), Portofino (140 km) und Cinqueterre (150 km) besuchen: wenn Sie dagegen nach Westen fahren, kommen Sie nach San Remo (20 km), Monaco (55 km), Nizza (ca. 75 km), Cannes (90 km) und Saint Tropez (180 km).

W Vasia znajduje się mały sklep spożywczy i poczta, a w oddalonej o około 7 km Caramagna znajduje się supermarket. Łagodny górski krajobraz zachęca do uprawiania turystyki pieszej lub kolarstwa górskiego. Czyste i zadbane plaże w Imperii i okolicach (patrz test ADAC) znajdują się w odległości zaledwie około 10 km i oferują przyjemność kąpieli od maja do października.
